Bakery

What is it about the aroma of freshly baked bread or wonderful pastries that set the taste buds watering and invokes such a sense of longing? You will not only cover the principles, equipment and procedures used to produce bread that is popular in today's market but, you will also learn the traditional methods employed for centuries.

Cookery

Are you passionate about food? Do you want to prepare and serve more than meat and three veg? We provide great opportunities across a variety of Cookery careers to help you mix and whisk your way into Tasmania's thriving Hospitality industry. A Polytechnic qualification in Cookery is a perfect lead in to an apprenticeship in this industry. So get cooking and see where a Cookery career will take you.

Wine and Viticulture

Who doesn't love a glass of luxurious red wine to unwind at the end of a stressful day? Imagine if you could create your own range of merlots, cabernet sauvignons or pinots. Perhaps a white is more your style? How about working in a winery, a vineyard or even a cellar and becoming a part of the great Tasmanian wine industry.
